My name is Bianca, also known as Princess Bianca or Miss B.  I may be small, but I am full of personality.  You can even ask my mom who saw me at just 5 weeks old, and knew she just had to have me!

I am a rare breed that is not common in the United States; in fact there are only around 1,000 of us here in the U. S.  We are much more popular in the countries where we were first bred, Italy and France.  I am a Bichon Bolognese.  The word bichon refers to the type of related breeds that are non-sporting companion dogs.

Protect Pets and Wildlife from Antifreeze Poisoning

Most automotive antifreeze contains ethylene glycol, which is highly toxic to animals and humans and can produce life-threatening kidney damage, even in small amounts.  

Unfortunately, the sweet smell and taste of antifreeze is appealing to animals.  Just one tablespoon of 50-50 diluted antifreeze can be lethal to a 10-pound cat, and as little as 4 ounces could be fatal to a 20-pound dog.  Leaks on driveways, in parking lots, on farms, and in natural areas like parks and campgrounds can easily contain enough ethylene glycol to kill both domestic and wild animals who ingest the sweet fluid.

Anyone who has been around horses for a while will have at least one story that defies logical explanation.  If you don’t, then you are probably just smarter than me.  That being said, I have always been intrigued by communicating with animals.
